This flat is absolutely stunning and in a great location for exploring the wonderful Isle of Islay. If you're looking for whisky, there isn't a better location with Bowmore distillery literally a two minute walk from the front door. The bus stop is right across the road making it easy to get buses to most of the distilleries.
The flat itself is very well equipped and although we only visited for four nights, it is more than suitable for a much longer stay.
A great shower in the bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Fortunately we didn't need to use the heating, but there are modern electric heaters in each room.
There are a couple of restaurants and pubs within walking distance - the Lochside hotel is fantastic and plenty of others within a short drive.

We stayed here at the beginning of August. The flat is in a wonderful location especially if you are using the local bus service, the flat was warm cosy clean welcoming, in other words we couldn’t ask for anything more. I just comment on the bed in the flat, it was superb not to soft and not to hard, a real treat. We had a very comfortable and relaxed stay here and we hope to be back soon. Many Thanks

We stayed in Argyll House for ten days in Jul/Aug2018 and spent a wonderful vacation there. The apartment is perfect in size, very nicely furnished and provides everything you could possibly want. Its location made it perfect for exploring Islay as the bus stop is just outside the door. There is a supermarket next door and Bowmore distillery is just across the main square.

Ailsa was a fantastic landlady, very easy to get in touch with and we loved the little booklet she provided with tips and brochures of what to see/do on Islay. We will definitely stay here again when we visit next time.

Fantastic accommodation, very clean and comfortable and has everything you need. Location is perfect for exploring the Island. We will definitely be back and we will be recommending Argyll House to family and friends.

We stayed one week in August 2015. The apartment was very cosy and functional. The location couldn’t have been better; just opposite of the main square and bus stops only few metres from the apartment. Very good place to stay and explore the beautiful Isle of Islay. Almost every part of the Islay is reachable by bus and the bus service is very reliable. The whisky distilleries are the must places to visit and most of them are also reachable by bus.

What a fantastic accomondation. You can't get a more central location in Bowmore and super flat with everything you could need.

If I ever get back to Islay as I hope, I would rent this accomondation again.

Fantastic stay here for 5 days in October. Very central location and super flat with everything you could need . Despite the storms and rain, we really enjoyed the islaŷ hospiality and hope to book again soon.

Great few days in Argyll House, accomodation ideal for a short break on lovely Islay. Perfectly situated for visiting loads of great places on the island, beaches, villages and distilleries. We also visited Colonsay and Jura and loved that too.

The flat is just great. Especially the window seats, the new bathroom, and the well equipped kitchen. Everything is clean and comfortable here.

Great accommodation - very central, quiet and much more spacious than the photos suggest. Ideal for 3 or 4 people. Good parking out front too. Will visit again.
